Can anyone tell me the difference between a witch and a sorcerer? I often hear / read the terms used interchangeably.

I had forgotten about the term “Warlock” so thank you for mentioning it. I am curious, to which initiatory orders have you belonged? And from which did you benefit the most?
I had started the process with the Temple of Ascending Flame founded by Asenath Mason but did not complete it. Life got in the way as they say. But I have great respect for their work and have read and benefited by their materials regarding Lilith.
Good Question
As far as I'm concerned a witch and a sorcerer are are different definitions of a magickal being. In the old craft of Europa a Witch is defined as a Wise magical person while most people think of Witches as female there have been and are male witches as well. In regards to Sorcerers and Black Magicians they lived in other parts of the world and went by other titles. Essentially in my view anyone who works magick marches to the beat of different drummer essentially their own beat. We create our own reality and navigate the world of horrors in our own way.
If your looking for specific definitions you might want look up your question in an Oxford Dictionary an then compare and contrast that definition with a Webster dictionary.
