It shows all things, past, present, and future, and answers any questions the magician may ask. He reconciles and reconciles friendships and relationships in general, achievements that have been lost, titles and dignity. Gusion is a great and strong duke who rules over 40 legions of demons. He appears as a Xenopilus (Cyaenophallus). "Aleister Crowley's Illustrated Goetia" gives us a definition of Xenophilus as "a strange and sad creature". Another possible reference to "Cyaenophallus" may be "cynocephalus" - the winged creature that illustrates the Tarot's Wheel of Fortune card and that perhaps refers to wisdom in a similar way to Thoth. Lisa Pekarski writes: Cynoceplalus rests at the bottom of the Wheel of Fortune in contrast to the sphinx at the top. Darkness and Light, just two more signs of universal duality.
🕯️🕯️🕯️DIFFERENT DESCRIPTIONS🕯️🕯️
🕯️From “The Goetia: The Lesser Key of Solomon the King” (1904) Written by SL MacGregor Mathers :🕯️ The eleventh spirit in order is a great and strong duke named Gusion. He appears as a Xenopilus. It counts all things, Past, Present and Coming, and shows the meaning and resolution of every question you may ask. He reconciles and reconciles friendships, and gives honor and dignity to everyone. He rules over 40 Legions of Spirits.
🕯️From the “Pseudomonarchia Daemonum” (1583) Written by Johann Weyer (Johann Wier):🕯️ Gusoin [Gusoyn] is a great duke, and a strong one, appearing in the form of a Xenophilus, he answers all things, present, past and future, exposing all questions. He reconciles liberty, and bestows honors and dignities, and rules forty-five legions of devils.
🕯️From the “Dictionnaire Infernal” (1863 edition) Written by Jacques Auguste Simon Collin de Plancy:🕯️ Original Text: Gusoyn, grand-duc aux nurses. Il apparaît sous la forme d'un chamaau. Il répond sur le présent, le passé, l'avenir, et découvre les chooses cachées. Increase; les dignités, et he affermit les honneurs. Il commande à quarante-five legions.
🕯️Hidden World Note:🕯️ It is unclear whether Gusion rules 40 or 45 Legions of Demons. There is no image of Gusion in the Dictionnaire Infernal. In the Dictionnaire Infernal it is stated that Gusion appears as a camel rather than a dog's head (Cynocephalus) as mentioned above.
✡️✡️✡️ANALYSIS✡️✡️✡️ Typhon is a giant from Greek mythology that represents primal forces, in particular strong winds and typhoons. In Egypt, the giant Seb is analogous to him, and represents the droughts of the Nile, causing the destruction of crops. Its characteristics are very varied, having griffin wings, snake legs and/or arms, heads of one or more animals, and even spitting fire. In general, primal forces are represented in the myth of Typhon through the corresponding animals, and Gusion acts as the connoisseur and manipulator of all of them. On the other hand, Gusion is linked to inevitability, luck, having similarities with the animal sometimes represented in the tarot's Wheel of Fortune. Like the primal forces, he has no concept of morality, he only delivers what is needed. He represents inevitable fate, the hidden will manifested in the Sephira Daath, not the conscious will. In a third aspect, Gusion is linked to evolution into a new dimension. It is the Beast that contains within itself all the primal principles in the most brute form, and only through which there can be the generation of a new universe. Therefore, although it has animal aspects, these have already been controlled, and the daemon reappears to fulfill the magician's true will.
