Balaam: one of the evil demons that took possession of Mother Joana dos Anjos. The passion of Balaam was the most dangerous of all. Identified as a three demon heads , riding a bear and carrying a hawk in his hands . one of the heads one was like that of a bull, the other like that of a man, and the third like that of a ram. In the Old Testament, the name of Balaam, prophet, seer and soothsayer, appears, originating in the Mesopotamian city of Petor. Biblical legend says that, summoned by Balak son of Sepphor, king of Moavo, to go to the Israelites to curse them, he was on his way, mounted on a donkey, when an angel appeared to him with a sword naked. The animal stopped, refusing to walk. The donkey, endowed with the gift of speech, condemned his cruelty. God then opened the eyes of Balaam, who saw the angel and, so instead of cursing the Israelis, he blessed them
Balam discerns past, present and future, he bestows humor, intelligence and mental ability. He gives spiritual invisibility so he will not be found by evil spirits, and he makes men kind. 🕯️From the “Dictionnaire Infernal” (1863 edition) Written by Jacques Auguste Simon Collin de Plancy🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️
Original text: Balan, great and terrible king in hell. He sometimes has three plates: that of a bull, that of a man, that of a ram. Add to that a snake tail and flaming eyes. But more ordinarily he shows himself on horseback, naked and horned, on a bear, and carries a hawk in his fist. His voice is hoarse and violent. It answers about the past, the present and the future. - This demon, who was formerly of the order of dominions, and who now commands forty infernal legions, teaches cunning, finesse, and the convenient means of duty without being seen.
